The process of installing live cameras has commenced, led by the Department of Information Technology and New Technologies of the Municipality of Rhodes. Currently, 10 cameras have been installed at the following locations in the city:
- Translators & Writers Center
- Aquarium
- Clock Tower
- Kolona Harbor
- New Market
- Old Town
- Lindos
- Kallithea Springs
- Tsambika Beach
- Prasonisi
The remaining 8 cameras will be placed in the immediate future. Through these cameras, anyone can watch live broadcasts of the most significant and touristic spots in Rhodes. The goal of this project is to expand it throughout the entire island to showcase Rhodes, highlight its natural beauty, and the unique climatic conditions with approximately 310 sunny days a year.
