The municipality of Rhodes is preparing for the season at every level

The municipal authorities of Rhodes are making every effort to be ready for the upcoming season, asserts deputy mayor Mr. Stratos Kariki. He emphasizes that even though it is impossible to make miracles regarding the traffic issues, they are working on devising temporary solutions as a quick fix in this regard.

Mr. Kariki has made it clear that there are two essential points to consider: first, the season must have high-quality features and exceed 2022 in terms of numbers; if we manage to surpass last year's visitor count, then it will be a major victory for all involved.

He went on to say, "The mayor (Antonis Kampourakis) has been focusing on this part of the project for the last few months and it seems, based on the data and pre-bookings, that we are close to this goal as well, as long as of course something doesn't happen that we couldn't have predicted.

So, we have an initial satisfaction. The mayor himself will be at the Berlin exhibition in the next few days, the mayor himself was in Athens yesterday (ed. the day before yesterday), tomorrow (ed. today) we will be in Athens."
