The 2023 tourist year is expected to exceed all expectations with a greater influx of visitors than last year. Easy jet will be taking the first flight of the new tourist season. It will come from London and is expected to arrive at 11:40. The usual welcome event at the airport by the local authorities will be organised. However, the same airline will also operate two other flights during the same day, also from Great Britain. In particular, the second flight is expected at 12.30 from Luton and the third at 21.45 from Manchester carrying English tourists.
The figures available with regard to slots are quite encouraging and suggest that there will be around 19,000 charter flights this year, a higher number than last year. So the UK market is the first to begin and towards the end of March the rest, namely Germany and countries from central Europe, will start and other flights from Britain will gradually be added.
Rendezvous in Berlin
Rhodes' businessmen and tourism agents are gathering in Berlin on the 7th of March for the International Tourism Fair ITB, where they anticipate to receive projections from professionals indicating how this year's tourist season will be structured.
